The Passion Translation

From a Quiet Place …

I write to you from a delicate, heartfelt, and humble space. There are moments when the soul bends low, not in defeat, but in awe—when we find ourselves foolish in love and ruined by grace. In the hush between our striving, The Most High meets us—tender, merciful, unshaken.

I write from that place of quiet undoing, where sacred things bloom in broken soil. I don’t pretend to have answers, only a deepening awareness that sometimes what feels like falling apart is the very beginning of being rebuilt—in truth, in passion, in purpose, and most quintessential - in love.

In these moments, I am reminded of the truth that we cannot save ourselves. As it is written in Romans 3:23 (TS2009), for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Elohim. The curse of sin has left us unable to rescue ourselves, no matter how hard we strive. Our efforts are but dust compared to the vast mercy of the One who sees us, knows us, and loves us.

And yet, in our deepest need, there is the most beautiful truth: before we even took our first breath, Yeshua saw our despair—and with mercy in His eyes, He spoke these words, as recorded in John 10:27-29 (TS2009):

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them everlasting life, and they shall by no means ever perish, and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

It is with this truth in my heart that I reach out—not just with words, but with heart. If there is a way I might serve, support, or simply walk beside what YHWH is unfolding in your life or work, I am here. May our connection, however small, be another stitch in the beautiful fabric of His will.

With love and quiet hope,

Jamie

Busy hands will never stop — driven by a ticking clock. Longing for some peace of mind, yet finding... I don’t have the time. Doing wonders in Your name, but knowing You is not the same. There’s always good work to be done — but am I a servant... or a [daughter]? Teach me first to enjoy You, to delight in Your presence. Untether my heart from all my busy religion. You are sweeter than honey, better than the finest wine. I am my Beloved’s — and my Beloved, He is mine. A thousand times I’ve passed You by, while You’ve been trying to catch my eye. Fixed on all there is to do, somehow... I keep missing You. To love You, Yeshua, with all I am — this is what Martha came to understand. In the presence of their King, Mary chose the better thing. Learning just to enjoy You, To delight in Your presence. Untether my heart from, All my busy religion. For You are, sweeter than honey, and, Better than the finest wine. I am my Beloved's and my Beloved, He is mine. Ooh, I'm learning just to enjoy You. Ooh, sometimes forget I'm allowed to. Ooh, I'm learning just to enjoy You. Ooh, sometimes forget I'm allowed to - For You are sweeter than honey, and, Better than the finest wine - I am my Beloved's and my Beloved He is mine. He is mine. He is mine. He is mine.
